As the oil begins to be taken off the MSC Napoli today and the crowds are beginning to leave, Devon Wildlife Trust (DWT) is now concerned over the huge amount of litter left on the beaches in Lyme Bay which could have a long term effect on the wildlife in the area. |

Thanks to a new Project Planning Grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), the London Wildlife Trust will have the resources needed to launch its “Going Local” volunteering initiative. The award, of £47,800, will enable the Trust to engage with a diverse range of communities in Camden, Islington, Southwark and Lewisham and to increase their involvement in and enjoyment of local wildlife and green space. |

Submitting images to the galleries of WildaboutKent is not automatic. You will need to have permission from the site admin once you have shown a reasonable photographic ability. This is not a slight on your photography, but a safeguard to keep the image library to a decent standard and maintain the good reputation that we have managed to build up.
