The third of the Kent Wildlife Trust's "This is your Wildlife" events is being held, this time at Queendown Warren over the coming weekend, 2nd and 3rd August between 10am and 4pm each day.
There'll be Highland cattle, Exmoor ponies and great wildlife activities at Queendown Warren nature reserve. This free family event will allow visitors to see a stunning array of wildlife in beautiful natural surroundings, visitors can also take part in:
Guided walks with experts
Small mammal identification tour - observe mammals in their own habitat (11.00am)
Family activities: Mini beast hunt, mosaic art competition with Hartley Art group and UCCA Butterfly crafts
Wildlife photography with professional photographers 'Wild About Kent'
PLUS! Evening moth trapping and night time critters (Sat 8.30pm - 10.00pm).
Dirctions by road:
Follow signs from M2 junction 4 or M20 junction 7. From the A2 follow the sign to Hartlip along the Lower Hartlip road. Turn left at the cross roads into Yelsted road. Car park is 1/2 mile (0.8km) on left.
