Following on from the successful piloting of the EOS Discovery Series earlier this year, Canon is giving EOS users another chance to get the inside story on it's ultimate camera system.

By signing up to the free EOS Discovery Series event, consumers will have the opportunity to learn more about their own EOS system through the showcasing of a variety of photographic techniques as demonstrated under the expert guidance of celebrity photographer Andy Earl, in addition to support from other leading photography experts.

Malcolm Andre from Canon commented "We have listened to constructive feedback from the attendees of the pilot Series in July and have put together a new and improved programme. The new Discovery Series event will give the audience an insight into how the pros work with EOS in nature, fashion, sports and reportage, and through the events aspirational content will look to encourage consumers to improve their own D-SLR skills."

The discovery series will focus on two shows. One show will be aimed at Amateur photographers and those just starting out in D-SLR photography and who are keen to understand more about the capabilities and potential of their EOS camera. The second show is targeted at the Advanced photographer and whilst adopting the same structure will look to increase the emphasis on the potentials of Canon's high-end professional cameras and how to ensure that users choose the right camera for their chosen photographic field.

EOS and Apple

For those interested in the latest post-production tools, Apple will run same-day sessions around the EOS Discovery event times. The team will be there to present, demonstrate and troubleshoot on their latest iPhoto software package. Information will be provided with your EOS Discovery registration confirmation. Further complementing the interactive nature of the day, an all-day Touch and Try zone will be manned by Canon Professional Experts, ensuring that all attendees have the opportunity to try out the very latest in Canon imaging equipment.
